The Samsung Yp-p2 has two novel features going for it: touch-screen interface and Bluetooth capabilities. Most closely compared to the iPod Touch, the Yp-p2 is considerably smaller in size and perhaps price. Although it doesn’t include Wi-Fi, the Bluetooth may be a better option, enabling you to listen to your music through wireless headphones, and it has great sound quality to boot.
The Samsung Ypp2 has a 3-inch touch screen that makes it great for navigation and video watching. Although not the largest screen on the market, it is sufficient. It also has an FM tuner and the ability to customize your backgrounds. However, there is mediocre format support only supporting MP3Â and WMA (protected and unprotected), but this should do for most users.
Critics found the touch screen to work well and the additional dedicated controls like volume located on the device’s side are a nice addition lacking in the iPod Touch. One feature not found in most MP3 players is the ability to create playlists directly within the device.
