Combining two entirely different ideas of paper mail and e-ink technology, Fabien Nauroy has managed to create one of the best concept phones we have seen in some time, the Nokia E97.

Dark sleek looks aside, the Nokia E97 has a unique pullout LCD screen, which can be removed from the handsetjust as you pull a paper from an envelope, and can double as a storage device or a desktop picture frame.

  The handset goes for an ‘AZERTY’ keypad shunning your usual QWERTY, along with a smaller LCD screen right above it. The whole package seems cool as ice but as for now, as intangible as any other concept phones we have come to see until now.

That pane can be left protruding but still attached – for use with the keyboard – or removed completely and passed around as a photo, video or internet viewer.  It would also have its own internal storage and a desktop stand, meaning it could be used as a digital photo frame.

Nauroy envisages a leather portfolio case which would have a pocket for a second screen, so the two parts are obviously intended to be sold separately.  He’s certainly got the Nokia design language down to a fine art; the Finns could do worse than looking to Paris for their next inspiration.

Google’s open source  new operating system Chromium triggered the development of Cloud computing concept. Now another Operating System “Glide“  offers a bundle of applications and an online storage of 30 Gb.  In the cloud computing system users do not possess hardware. The users data stored in the reliable servers of service providers and the whole operating system is based on web browser, which can be accessed through any internet enabled computers  irrespective of operating system.

Bluetooth is one feature which everyone in today’s modern world uses to share files with his or her friend circle. Currently Bluetooth is in version 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 will soon be implemented in mobiles from next year. Today at Bellevue, WA, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) revealed the specifications of upcoming Bluetooth 4.0. The transfer rate offered by Bluetooth 4.0 will be around 1Mbps, and it will transmit data at 2.4Ghz frequency.

Michael Foley, Ph.D., executive director of Bluetooth SIG said “With today’s announcement the race is on for product designers to be the first to market. Bluetooth low energy modules for all sorts of new products may now be qualified – this is an important step towards our goal of enabling new markets with Bluetooth wireless technology.
